Private Chef Parties have become a popular option for social get-togethers. They can be held in your own home, at your business or at Columbus Park Upstairs, our private dining room. Our owner and chef Michael Marchetti will prepare a sumptuous menu including wine or other imported liqueurs. Or, for a unique twist, Michael's mother Maria Marchetti can conduct a homemade pasta-making demonstration and cooking class at your event, culminating in a heartwarming and deeply-satisfying dinner.

Our spacious, warmly-decorated private room known as Columbus Park Upstairs is unique among other restaurants because it has its own entrance, kitchen, bar and bathroom. This affords you and your guests absolute privacy and dedicated service, while enjoying the same fabulous regional and national Italian dishes Columbus Park is known for. The atmosphere is intimate, and the large windows provide a stunning view over Columbus Park. Our private room can accommodate up to 65 people comfortably for an elegant sit-down dinner, or up to 100 for cocktails. It's also a great venue for smaller affairs because the room is quiet and comfortable. What began as a small family business has now grown to include three very successful restaurants in Fairfield County. The Marchetti family opened Columbus Park Trattoria in Stamford in 1985, followed in 1994 by Osteria Applausi in Old Greenwich and Tarantino Restaurant in Westport. Columbus Park Trattoria has garnered many favorable reviews since its inception, and all because we have followed a few simple rules: our dishes must be made with simple and fresh ingredients, and all of our customers must be treated like family. This is the secret of our success, and the warm and welcoming Italian dining experience you can expect when you visit.
